Aim and History

The term SoptS(=Shape Optimization of Singular Points in boundary value problems) is used because the principal objective of this work is the systematic mathematical development of fracture phenomena, shape optimization of boundaries, the singularity in PDEs mixed boundary conditions, interfaces. There are many related previous studies, such as The Continuum theory of lattice defects by [Es56] by Eshelby, J-integral in fracture phenomena starting with J.R. Rice [Ri68, Ri68-2] and Cherepanov [Ch67] and shape optimization studies by Sokolowski et al.[Sok92, N-S13] O. Pironneau [Pi84], G.Allaire[A-P06, Al07] and H1-gradient method by Azegami [Az94, A-W96, Az17].
